CYDA Web Dialogue on March 21-24
Students from across California are invited to participate in a web dialogue to respond to the CYDA theme this year: Closing the GAPP (Gangs, Apathy, Poverty and Prejudice).  What keeps students from being successful in school and civic life? What can be done about this? By students! By schools and community!  How can youth develop and advocate for policies that may help close the GAPP?

Regional Youth Leadership Conference on April 28
CYDA will lead student deliberation of ideas emerging from the Web Dialogue and consultation with policy experts and legislative advisors.   Student leaders will draft policy recommendations and share results with local, regional and state policymakers.   This conference will lead to next steps by youth leaders, which will be communicated on the CYDA web site.
